MV Bloemgracht Christened in Batam
On Friday 24 November 2023 Spliethoff’s MV Bloemgracht was festively christened in Batam, Indonesia. The Christening was performed by Ms Kimberly Valk, daughter of Spliethoff’s Mr Hans Valk, who stood at the foundation of the B-type vessels’ capabilities some 20 years ago.

M.v. Bloemgracht has been delivered from Fuzhou Mawei shipyard to Spliethoff Group on, 11 August 2023 at 14:15 (CHN time). The series of two identical DP2 B-type vessels is now complete.

Keel laying of DP2 B-Type Vessels
On 19 December the first steel was cut for both DP2 B-Type vessels (mv Brouwersgracht and mv Bloemgracht) at the Mawei shipyard in Fuzhou, China. A week later the keel was layed.

Newbuild M.V. Brouwersgracht was launched from dry dock last Friday 8 April at Mawei shipyard in Fuzhou China. At the same time sister vessel m.v. Bloemgracht was floated.

Spliethoff Group delivers first monopiles for wind park Fryslân
On September 7th mv Lady Anne Beau delivered the first four monopiles for Wind Park Fryslân in the IJsselmeer at Breezanddijk, The Netherlands. Spliethoff Group will perform 26 more shipments for the project in the coming months, transporting a total of 89 monopiles and 89 Concrete Work Platforms (CWPs).
